Wilmington, Ma multifamily construction project hits a milestone: Massachusetts Homebuyers Homeownership

A new multifamily development under construction in Wilmington hit a milestone as it topped off its vertical structure.
The Procopio Companies Lume residential project is located at 635 Main St., in the suburb just twenty miles from Boston. The developer broke ground on the project last June. Once complete, Lume, a three story, forty nine unit luxury residential development will include seventy four thousand square foot of multifamily housing with thirty nine garden style apartment units and ten luxury townhomes.

The twenty million dollar project is a short walk from the Wilmington MBTA train station and sits near the junction of I-93 and I-95 with easy access to I-90, Rte. 38 and I-495.  “We’re really excited about Lume. Wilmington hasn’t seen the development of new multifamily construction in over ten years,” said CEO Michael Procopio. “With the Life Sciences boom expanding into the 128 belt, Lume’s location is prime for anyone working in the industry, as well as anyone looking for a convenient, luxury development outside of Boston to call home.”

The development will also have community amenities, including a fitness center with a dedicated yoga room, a club room, pet spa, outdoor patio area and work-from-home rooms, designed for virtual meetings. The architect of record for the project’s exterior design is DMS Design. Ipswich-based Conant Design Group is handling interior design. Slated to open in the fall, Boston based Charlesgate will be handling both property management and leasing.
