Boston-based real estate digital payment service DepositLink LLC has introduced a new product line for brokers and title companies that aims to eliminate the hassle of processing paper checks. The program, DepositLink Pay, allows a broker, agent or title company to direct buyers and renters to a customized URL or a “Pay” button online to make digital earnest-money deposits and rental payments with no cost to brokers, agents or companies.
“DepositLink Pay is a giant step in automating payments for real estate,” DepositLink founder and CEO Jay Rooney said in a press release. “Buyers and renters have easy access and can make payments in less than two minutes from any device.” DepositLink Pay offers a branded broker/agent or company interface that maintains a solid connection to clients throughout the homebuying process. The platform tracks payment status in real-time, and funds clear in as little as 24 hours, DepositLink said.
