Touchstone Closing continues expanding, welcomes new partners with merger: Massachusetts Homeowners Homeownership
Touchstone Closing kicked off 2022 with a merger, a new office and the addition of two new partners. The company has merged with Tomlinson & Hatch LLC, which brings real estate attorneys Jeffrey Tomlinson and Timothy Hatch to the team. The merger also expands Touchstone’s presence in New England with a new closing office in Newburyport. “We couldn’t be happier to expand our footprint and welcome such highly regarded attorneys to our team,” Touchstone co-founder and managing partner John O’Donohue said in a press release.
“Touchstone will be stronger with the expertise, dedication and knowledge both Jeff and Tim bring to the closing table.” Tomlinson has almost 30 years of experience in real estate transactions and is the founder and owner of Document Research LLC, which specializes in clearing real estate title issues. He lives in Newburyport. Hatch, who started his career shadowing his father in the early 1970s, has been a practicing attorney for more than 40 years and as partner brings his “art of title examination” to Touchstone.
Having raised his family in Andover, he now lives in South Lawrence. “We are proud to have had exceptional real estate attorneys on our team throughout the many decades at Tomlinson & Hatch, and we know the level of service at Touchstone will exceed our clients’ expectations,” said Tomlinson. “Touchstone has been one to watch, and we are thrilled to join forces with their cutting-edge systems, incredibly strong depth and infectious culture.”
